Description
Shark 12018 is a lead-free solder alloyed with 95 % tin and 5 % antimony (Sn95/Ag0.5 or Sn95/5 type), delivered as a 3⁄32-inch (0.09375 in) diameter solid core wire on a ¼ lb spool. It provides a tensile strength of approximately 6,000 psi and melts at about 464 °F. Shark markets this as a corrosion-resistant, general-purpose solder suitable for plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical systems where lead-free materials are required.
