Description
The Howmet / Marson BR4-8AAD (M40222) AB4-8A is an all-aluminum blind rivet (body & mandrel) with a 1/8-inch (0.125 in / ~3.18 mm) nominal diameter, designed for fastening material thicknesses ranging 0.376-0.500 inches (~9.55-12.70 mm). It features a button (dome) head and plain finish. With a head diameter of approximately 0.250 in and body (barrel) length ~0.650 in, this rivet offers good strength (shear ~155 lbf, tensile ~240 lbf) for medium-thick joins, especially when weight and corrosion resistance matter. It’s marketed in packs of 500.
