Loctite 248 is a blue, medium-strength, primerless threadlocker in a clean, no-drip stick that locks and seals threaded fasteners to prevent loosening from vibration; it works on all metals—including passive substrates like stainless steel, aluminum, and plated surfaces—fixtures in about 5 minutes, achieves typical breakaway torque of 23 N·m on M10 steel, and can be removed with standard hand tools (or with localized heat around 260 °C for stubborn assemblies).
