7-way heavy duty trucking socket. Solid pin 2-hole mount socket. Only solid pin sockets meet and exceed all SAE J560 standards. Floating pins for ease of alignment and maximum contact. Will accept the widest range of wire gauges, from #16 wires to #8 ground wire. Self grounding (die-cast only). Optimum slant mount and drain slot rid housing interior of accumulated moisture. Stainless steel spring. Recommended mounting hole = 2″ dia. 40 amps continuous duty @ 6-28 VDC
