This slotted spring pin, commonly called a roll pin or tension pin, is a hollow cylindrical fastener used for press-fitting into a drilled hole to secure parts together. Made from hardened high-carbon spring steel and zinc-plated for corrosion resistance, it has a nominal diameter of 1/8″ and a length of 1″. The pin’s spring tension locks it in place under vibration or stress while chamfered ends ensure easy installation.
