Description
Thread-Sert is a steel, low-profile threaded insert with 3/8-16 UNC-2B threads, finished in zinc-clear trivalent chromate. Designed to provide strong internal threads in thin materials, it features a splined, round body and an open end, minimizing back-side protrusion while offering excellent torque resistance. With a very shallow starting material requirement (≈0.030 in), it’s ideal for enclosures, panels, cabinetry, and repair work where strength, durability, and minimal head profile are needed.
