A clear, fast-acting silicone spray for general maintenance and assembly, 3M™ Silicone Lubricant (Dry Type) PN 08897 reduces friction, eliminates squeaks, helps protect against rust and corrosion, seals out moisture, and resists buildup of glues, waxes, inks, and paints. It contains no petroleum oils (won’t stain or gum), uses food-grade silicone, remains usable from −28 °F to 350 °F, and is supplied as an easy-to-apply aerosol for shop, plant, and field service.
