Shark 12017 is a solid wire solder alloyed to 95 % tin / 5 % silver, supplied on a 0.125 inch (1/8 in) diameter spool weighing ¼ lb (4 oz). Its high-tin, silver-reinforced formulation ensures excellent wetting and strong joints on copper and copper alloys. Designed for electronics, HVAC, and general repair tasks, this solder is ideal where more mechanical strength and fatigue resistance are needed compared to pure tin.
