Permatex Gear Oil RTV Gasket Maker is a specialty, sensor-safe silicone formulated to withstand the harsh gear-oil environment in differentials and transfer cases; unlike standard RTVs that break down from friction modifiers, this OEM-spec-tested sealant seeks and seals leak paths that cut gaskets cannot, cures to a flexible, durable seal, and can also be used to dress cut gaskets for a reliable, leak-proof assembly.
