The BR8-4ASD (Howmet / Marson part M42381) is an open-end blind rivet featuring an aluminum 5056 body and steel mandrel, with a 1⁄4-inch diameter and grip range of 0.126 to 0.250 inches. It has a plain aluminum finish, zinc-clear-trivalent mandrel, a dome (button) head, and delivers both lightweight corrosion resistance and steel mandrel strength. Ideal for sheet-metal fastening in mixed-material assemblies where panel thickness varies and one-side access only is available.
