Description
The Howmet / Marson BR5-8AAD (M40237, AB5-8A series) is an all-aluminum (body & mandrel) open-end blind rivet with a nominal body diameter of 5/32-inch (0.156 in / ~3.96 mm). It is meant to fasten material thicknesses (grip) between 0.376-inch and 0.500-inch (~9.55-12.70 mm). Featuring a dome (button) head, aluminum 5052 alloy body and mandrel, plain finish, and bulk packaging (500 pieces), this rivet delivers lightweight and corrosion-resistant fasteners for medium-thick panel assemblies where only one side is accessible. It’s RoHS-compliant.
