7-way heavy duty trucking sockets. Split pin 2-hole mount socket. Only solid pin sockets meet and exceed all SAE J560 standards*. Floating pins for ease of alignment and maximum contact. Will accept the widest range of wire gauges, from #16 wires to #8 ground wire. Self grounding (die-cast only). Optimum slant mount and drain n slot rid housing interior of accumulated moisture. Stainless steel spring. Recommended mounting hole = 2″ dia. 40 amps continuous duty @ 6-28 VDC
