    A spray-on gel heat shield formulated for soldering, sweating, and welding, DiversiTech Cool-Weld protects adjacent components and surfaces from heat damage during brazing and torch work. It adheres to metals and porous materials (including fabrics and drywall) to prevent scorching and charring while you work, then cleans up with water. Non-flammable and classified as non-hazardous under OSHA HCS, Cool-Weld is ideal for HVAC/R, plumbing, and sheet metal tasks where nearby parts must be kept cool.
