This is a 3-inch Type 1 flat cut-off wheel built for fast, consistent cutting of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is constructed with aluminum oxide abrasive grain, resin bonded, reinforced with fiberglass mesh for safety, and features a metal-reinforced arbor hole to reduce mounting deformation and improve wheel stability.
It is made for cutting a wide range of materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, aluminum, fiberglass, and other metals or composites.
Common Uses: Trimming and sectioning tubing, pipe, angle iron, sheet metal, and metal brackets in industrial, automotive, fabrication, and repair settings
